Menopause Type® Seven has symptoms that reveal decreased progesterone function with adequate estradiol and testosterone function. Health risks associated with Menopause Type® Seven may include osteoporosis, high blood pressure and anxiety disorders. Because progesterone function is suboptimal, it may not properly oppose the actions of estrogens or of androgens such as testosterone. This may result in some mild androgen or estrogens excess symptoms. Once progesterone is supported to normal function, any minor androgen or estrogen excess symptoms and risks are usually corrected.
Determination of this menopause type® is made through the use of the Menopause Type® Questionnaire, and/or lab tests.
